We want our booking and payments arrangements for 2021 to be transparent and fair for our customers, our small team who help us and ourselves.
Difficult as 2020 has been, the situation was clear cut . Either we have all been in national lockdown or the majority able to travel and enjoy holidays in the UK. Now the new strict regional tier system will affect us all differently and as such make it hard to plan for the immediate future. Consequently for 2021 we will reserve holidays for our guests and will not ask for any deposits at the time of booking. Then at a time when the situation becomes clearer we will ask for our usual 1/3rd non refundable booking deposit. Currently we hope that potentially around Easter, with the rollout of the vaccines and sunnier ‘outdoor’ weather approaching, the situation for domestic holidays in the main May to October 2021 period may be clearer. If so, then as stated we will then ask for a non refundable deposit and each guest can then confirm their reservation with a payment or cancel it for any reason what so ever. As usual the balance payment (up to the full rental amount with any extras – dogs, towels and any additional guests – plus a £150 refundable damage deposit) is then payable 1 month before the start of the guests reservation. We hope by Easter the situation is clearer for us all but if not we will only take deposits when it is.
Once we have taken individuals guests payments then subsequently should our business be forced to close for any reason at the time of your holiday then we would refund you in full or happily transfer the date, at the guests option. However if we are open but the guests is unable to travel for any reason then all monies paid are non-refundable and non transferrable.
