Local pubs you can walk to from Binghams Farm
We are very fortunate to have two pubs located within a walkable distance that are open. We would advise booking in advance especially at the weekend or if the weather is nice. A map of both routes can be found at the bottom of the page.
The Pymore Inn- orange route on map
Distance: 1.3 miles
Time: 30 minutes (Approx.)
Seating: Outside (plans to reopen inside in the next month)- maximum of 6 per table
Route:
- Walk up main Binghams Farm drive- taking the first right turning down a track. Go through the first gate and follow the track around, going through a second gate that leads to the right.
- Follow the path directly down the middle of the field. At the bottom of the field go through the gate and turn left.
- Follow the path across the field to the gate in the middle. Continue on the path straight.
- Go over the stile into the neighbouring field (please be aware cows are sometimes in this field). Continue straight- go over the stile, following the footpath with a farm on your right.
- When you reach the end of the footpath (a road in front of you), go over the stile and turn right. Immediately then turn left up Pymore Road.
- Continue walking on this road for a few hundred meters. The Pymore Inn is the pub on your left.
The Hare & Hounds- blue route on map
Distance: 1.5 miles
Time: 45 mins (Approx.)
Seating: Outside and limited seating inside
Route:
- Walk up main Binghams Farm drive- taking the first right turning down a track. Go through the first gate and follow the track around, going through a second gate that leads to the right.
- Follow the path directly down the middle of the field. At the bottom of the field go through the gate and turn right (towards the caravan park)
- Turn left down the path just before the gate to go into the caravan park- towards the river.
- Go through the gate and across the bridge, following the path to the right. Continue on this path for the next couple of fields- going through the gates and stiles.
- Follow the path straight through a small lawn field. Cross over the stile into the next field (please be aware cows are sometimes in this field). Follow the path to another stile attached to a small bridge. Go over this and continue straight. Go over the next stile- continuing on the path. The bridge to the next field is currently broken so you will need to jump across a small ditch.
- Continue straight following the path through the field. Go through a gate to the next field- following the path on the left up a small hill (please be aware sheep are sometimes in this field). Continue on this path- going down the hill to a final stile before the road.
- At the road turn left up the hill. Continue on this road until you meet a cross roads. At this point turn right. Follow this road until you reach the pub on your right.
